AppsForBharat, the parent company of the popular devotional app Sri Mandir, has raised USD 18 million in a Series B funding round. The funding round was led by Nandan Nilekani's Fundamentum, with participation from Susquehanna Asia VC, Elevation Capital, Peak XV, and Mirae Asset VC.
AppsForBharat plans to utilize the new funding to further expand the Sri Mandir app, building a robust technology stack for temples and introducing five new regional languages. The company also aims to scale operations in India and international markets like the US, UK, and Canada.
