Within two years, Karma Trade successfully recirculated over 20,000 clothing items and issued $1.7 million worth of KARMA.

A Leap of Faith: From College to Hacker Fellowship

Fang's commitment to entrepreneurship led her to take a daring leap of faith. She dropped out of college to accept a fellowship from Hacker Fellowship Zero (HF0), a prestigious program for top technical founders.

Fang’s parents were hesitant about her decision to leave college, but she persuaded them with the potential of venture capital.

Her fellowship experience in Miami pushed her to re-evaluate her career path.

Despite the fellowship not yielding a groundbreaking blockchain currency, it exposed Fang to the world of entrepreneurship and prompted her to explore her future aspirations.

Finding Clarity in Thailand

Fang's journey took her to Thailand, where she sought clarity and introspection. She spent time practicing yoga and meditation at a monastery, allowing herself to disconnect from the demands of entrepreneurship and academics.

Fang's spiritual exploration in Thailand served as a turning point, allowing her to reconnect with herself and her goals.

The experience deepened her commitment to yoga and its principles, which would later influence her business practices.

Stepping away from business and school provided Fang with a sense of renewal and purpose.

Omniio: A Solution for Retailers

Back in the United States, Fang's entrepreneurial spirit was rekindled. This time, she aimed to solve a specific problem faced by small retailers—overstocking and difficulty in creating online storefronts. She envisioned a solution that would streamline the process of listing products online, reducing the manual labor involved in photographing and uploading data.

Inspired by her experience with Karma Trade, Fang established Omniio, a tech startup that empowers retailers to easily sell products online.

Fang describes Omniio as a “Snapchat for retail inventory,” allowing retailers to quickly capture photos and upload them to their Shopify stores.

Omniio's core functionality is to help independent retailers overcome the challenges of overstock and online presence.
