Apple Intelligence is Coming to iPhone 16 and iPhone 15 Pro

Apple Intelligence is finally rolling out to all consumers, but only those with the latest iPhone models will have access to these AI-powered features. The initial release will include enhanced Siri, improved Photos app capabilities, and smart notifications. Learn about Apple Intelligence's features, availability, and what to expect in the future.

Key Apple Intelligence Features

• Siri Enhancements: Apple has given Siri an AI makeover, allowing it to understand your requests better. You can now chat with Siri through text and ask for how-to instructions on Apple products. Siri will also be able to better understand your requests, including pauses and changes to requests, such as setting a timer for 15 minutes instead of 10 minutes.
• Image Cleanup in Photos App: The Photos app will gain a feature similar to Google's Magic Eraser that helps remove unwanted objects and people from your images. Apple Intelligence will help automatically detect unwanted objects, or you can manually select them.
• New Photos App Features: Apple Intelligence will enhance the Photos app's Memories feature by creating new Memories through prompts. You can also use natural language to search for different photos.
• Notification Summaries: Apple will summarize multiple notifications coming from apps like Mail, Messages, and third-party apps like WhatsApp.
• Mail Summaries: The Mail app will show a one-line summary of all emails and display priority emails at the top of your inbox. AI will also help you to respond quickly to emails using smart replies.
• Phone and Notes Updates: The Phone app will let you record and transcribe calls, and you can use AI to summarize these transcriptions in the Notes app. This feature will also be available for voice notes.

Apple Intelligence Availability

Currently, Apple Intelligence supports U.S. English. However, Apple plans to expand language support in the coming months and years:
