Groove Mobile Updates: New Android Features & More!

Groove has been hard at work on new features and updates for both Groove 2.0 and the Groove Mobile app. This includes a range of enhancements for Android users.

    Enhanced Android Notifications

The Groove Mobile app now offers a more powerful and user-friendly notification experience for Android users.

    • Action Updates: Notifications now reflect any changes made to tickets since the notification was sent.
    • @mention Action: You can reply directly to the agent who assigned the ticket or mentioned you.
    • Undo Ticket State Changes: Conveniently undo ticket state changes right from the notification.

    Introducing a Trash Folder

Never fear accidentally deleting a ticket again. With the new Trash folder, deleted tickets are now stored for safekeeping. You can easily restore them if needed.

    • Gmail-like Archiving: Deleted tickets now function like archived emails in Gmail.
    • Easy Access: A "Deleted Tickets" link is added to the left navigation for quick access.
    • Search Operators: Use "is:deleted" to find deleted tickets.

    Starred Conversation Search

Keep your important conversations top of mind with the ability to star tickets and easily locate them later.

    • Starred Tickets in Navigation: View starred tickets alongside Open, Closed, and Snoozed tickets.
    • "is:starred" Search Operator: Quickly find starred tickets using this search operator.

    Date Separators

Groove Mobile has improved ticket history with date separators to make it easier to follow conversations.

    • Clear Timestamps: All timestamps are now displayed in absolute time (e.g., 2023-10-26) instead of relative time (e.g., "three weeks ago").
    • Improved Navigation: Date separators clearly divide conversation threads for better organization.

    Essential Bug Fixes

Groove has addressed a number of bugs to improve the overall stability and functionality of the mobile app. This includes:

    • Regression Bugs: Fixed issues such as bulk deletion not working, users unable to unassign tickets, and problems adding email addresses to replies.
    • Folder Counts/Contents: Resolved issues with folder counts and contents appearing incorrectly, including problems related to saving draft replies, removing labels, and merged/deleted tickets.
